Buying a castle984 Archivesone of those things a lot of people think about in an "if I won the lotto" situation. Game of Thrones makes a lot of people think about what their life would be like if they lived in a magical world with dragons and stuff.

Now both of those fantasies can (kind of) come in a two-for-one package, since the castle that was used as Riverrun in Thronesis up for sale for the price of £500,000, or $657,414 in United States dollars.

Gosford Castle was featured as the ancestral castle of House Tully in Season 3 of HBO's hit show. When Robb Stark was alive and planning his doomed campaign to defeat the Lannisters, he stayed in the castle to plot alongside his uncles Edmure and Brynden "The Blackfish" Tully.

While only the exterior of Gosford was used in Game of Thrones(most notably in the scene where Robb Stark executes his former ally Rickard Karstark), the castle is still an impressive edifice. It's considered the largest castle in Northern Ireland and as such has been split into six separate apartments with dope, castle-y names like "The Round Tower" and "The Inner Bailey."

Anyone with the scratch to spare can buy the property as is and do what they want with the six apartments, which would probably make for the world's coolest Airbnb listings. Check out pictures of the castle at the real estate website here — and have fun imagining what it would be like to be a lord on Hoster Tully's level.
