LONDON -- Fantastic Beastsmay have Watch The Pussycat Ranch (1978)shed light on a period of magical history we didn't previously know that much about, but it also opened up a whole bunch of new questions too.

One of the biggest? The mysterious Leta Lestrange, who whose absence during the first film -- aside from the fleeting glimpse we saw of her in one of Newt's photographs -- was almost like a presence in itself.

From the sounds of it, though, Rowling isn't going to keep us in the dark for too much longer.

So: when we left Newt he was on his way back to the UK. Presumably then, when he gets there, he's going to be bumping into his school crush again.

Of course, we do already know a bit about Leta Lestrange. We already know, for instance, that she's being played by Zoë Kravitz, and director David Yates recently dropped some hints about her character during a round table interview with Cinema Blend.

"Leta Lestrange comes into the second movie," he said. "She's quite complicated and damaged and confused and Newt is absolutely still in love with her, so she has a kind of power over him, and she, yeah, she's a kind of tragic figure, so we will see a bit more of her in the second movie."

From the sounds of it, Newt and Leta's relationship is going to be one of the key focusses in the next Fantastic Beastschapter.

Oh, and in case you were worried about exactly how much more of Newt we'll be seeing, there's not doubt that he'll be the main man throughout.
